- Dave has been known to brew his own beer, cider, and wine — amongst other beverages.
- Campfire cooking is a passion of Dave's and he takes great pride in his ability to produce something edible while using only the most basic of methods.
- During his extensive travels, Dave has sampled many regional cuisines firsthand. He has concluded that the Vietnamese do the best duck, the French have the best all-round cuisine, and haggis is grossly underrated as a breakfast food.
Experience
Dave started writing professionally way back in 2008 after a short stint at a now long-defunct magazine. After completing a journalism degree, Dave has landed jobs across every format of media — working in print, magazine, online, on the radio, and on TV. His work, especially during the freelance stints, has allowed him to travel extensively. This in turn adds to his experiences, and gives him more to write about.
Education
Dave gained a B.A. in Journalism with honors from the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom. His degree also included a year abroad at the University of Maine in Orono, ME.
