Experience

Jessie started reporting professionally as a freshman in college and has been writing about anything and everything ever since. After college, she spent over five years writing for the Daily Southtown and 22nd Century Media publications in suburban Chicago, before moving on to write for the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. Her writing experience includes local politics, small businesses, restaurants, non-profits, travel, and everything in between. As a lifelong Chicagoan, Jessie loves having the opportunity to get out and enjoy the city's vast culinary landscape and considers herself a casual foodie. When she gets to travel, she loves checking out the food offerings around her, whether they be local specialties of a new city or the latest offerings at a Disney theme park.

Education

Jessie graduated Magna Cum Laude from DePaul University with bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Public Relations/Advertising. She was an active member of the school's media landscape, working for the college newspaper and radio station and serving as a producer for the college of communication's weekly TV news broadcast.
